Hearts4Marcus

February is Healthy Heart Month and Marcus was born on February 3, 2003.

In 2026, Marcus Kayal Legacy4Life Foundation sponsored our fourth annual Hearts4Marcus cardiac screening event at Mahwah High School. We teamed up with MCORE Foundation to offer EKGs and Echocardiograms to MHS students. The results are completely confidential. To date, 473 students have been screened, including 14 who were "red-flagged" with an abnormality and recommendation

to follow up with a cardiologist.

Marcus continues to touch the lives of others, and we know that he is so

proud of this life-saving work.
